HOW TO MARK DEFICIENCIES AS COMPLIANT

Google Chrome is the browser that best supports TCE.

These instructions are for closing out deficiencies that you or someone from your company reported originally.  If you are not the originating contractor or company, please follow the instructions in “How to Submit a Repair Report”.

Step 1: If you repaired deficiencies that you or someone from your company reported, go to www.thecomplianceengine.com and click on “Login.”    Sign in with your username, which is your email, and password:

Step 2: Click on the “Deficiency Tracking” icon on your home screen.

Step 3.  You can enter the AHJ or the premises name or address to narrow down your search.  When you see the premises where you repaired the deficiencies, click on the plus sign (+) next to the address.

Step 4.  Once you click on the plus sign, you will see a list of the systems with open deficiencies.  Click on the system type that you worked on.

Step 5.  Now you will see a list of the open deficiencies.  For each deficiency that you repaired/corrected, click the dropdown menu next to “Open” and select “Compliant.”  Then select the date on which you made the repair.  Repeat as needed for each deficiency you corrected.

Step 6.  You will now need to click on the “Attach Proof” button and select an attachment that shows you corrected the deficiency.

Step 7. Click “Save.”  These repairs/corrections have now been sent to the AHJ for approval.
