How to Use the "Open/Rejected Reports" Icon

HOW TO USE THE “OPEN/REJECTED REPORTS” ICON

Google Chrome is the browser that best supports TCE.

On your home screen, click on the “Open/Rejected Reports” icon.

When you click on the icon, you will be taken to a list of all the reports in the folder. You want to make sure the Progress column and Status columns say “ALL” in the drop-down menus.

In the second column from the right, labeled “Progress,” you will see whether the report is open or has been rejected.  Open reports will say “In Process.”  This means that you are still in the process of working on that report.  It was never submitted to the AHJ.  If the "Progress" column says "Rejected," that indicates reports were submitted, but the AHJ could not accept them.

To see the reason that a report was rejected, hover over the word “Rejected.” You do not need to click on it.  The person at the department who rejected the report will have provided the reason that they rejected it.  If you need more information, reach out to the AHJ.  You should correct the report as soon as possible and re-submit it.

If you saved the report because you did not have all the information you needed to submit it, you can edit and finish it now by clicking “Edit.”

If you do not need to edit any information, but saved it, you can now click “Submit to AHJ.”

If you clicked Edit, finish entering your information and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Submit to AHJ.”

Lastly, if you want to delete the report, click on the trash can icon in the top right hand corner.

You should try to clear out your open reports at the beginning of each day.  Finish all the reports you need to submit and delete any extras or mistakes.
